The Sleepy Heroes were Rhett Miller, Murray Hammond, and Benjamin Warrenfelds. This portrait was taken on the McKinney Avenue Trolley. These guys were incredible performers and musicians. Rhett and Murray later formed the Old 97’s. Rhett Miller is one on the best song writers and nice guy I have had the pleasure of working with.
