Mother Love Bone
This portrait of the band Mother Love Bone was taken in Seattle. The guys were super cool and we hung out and shoot several locations and a their last live gig. Andrew Wood died one week after the session. The band was dropped by the record company with no income and no band. Andrew was a one of a kind performer and distinct big personality. He was a gentleman and I loved his creativity. Jeff Ament and Stone Gossard started Pearl Jam from this disaster. The guys could not have been any cooler to me. We drove out of town one night to see Robin Trower play. That guy can wail! This was at the beginning of the Seattle sound craze and some of the best rock music ever made.
